Veduta aerea del ristorante Meraviglia Torre Suda marina di Racale, Salento

Swordfish Katsusando — A Japanese-inspired sandwich built around locally caught swordfish. One of the most distinctive dishes on the Ionian coast of Salento for anyone looking for creative fish cooking.

Spaghettone with Cetara Anchovy Colatura, Bronte Pistachios and Candied Lemon — A pasta dish that balances salt, fat, acidity and sweetness with precision. Ingredients sourced from some of Italy’s finest producers.

Mezze Maniche with Cacio and Bottarga — Creamy, briny, deeply satisfying. Mullet bottarga meets aged cheese in a dish that reads both classic and contemporary.

Octopus Skewers — Meraviglia’s signature: tender inside, crispy outside, served with a herb crumble. Consistent across every service.

The menu changes across the season, with raw seafood selections and a wine list that prioritises French sparkling wines and native Salento grape varieties.

For the 2026 season, opening is scheduled from 22 May.

Do You Need a Reservation

Yes. Always. This is not a walk-in restaurant, particularly in July and August when the Ionian coast fills up. Book in advance to secure a table with a sea view.

Several cocktails and tasting menus at Meraviglia feature spirits produced by Farmacia dei Contenti, the family’s licensed craft distillery in Ruffano. The range includes:

Gin Ficò — Made with fresh fig leaves. Botanical, local, unmistakably Salento.

Oysters & Caviar Gin — A saline gin developed specifically to pair with raw seafood. Unusual and effective.

Amaro Orizzonte degli Eventi — A digestif of genuine complexity. A logical way to end a long dinner on the rocks.
